Professional Setups for Ordinary People!
I've gained a reputation in the industry for my fingerboards. I make
curved ebony mirrors. No ripples, no bumps, no buzzes!
I have literally dressed hundreds of bass fingerboards.
I have custom tools that allow me to measure camber depth to within .0005"
over an 8" test area of the board. Whether you want a nearly flat camber
setup like Stanley Clarke or Bunny Brunel, or a big scoop for a big orchestral
dig, I can do it!
Violin family instruments don't have truss rods. The camber or "scoop" is
cut into the fingerboard by hand.
Below are pictures of various fingerboards I've dressed for success, enjoy!

and Brian Bromberg, to local schools and their students.
